Hourly fine particulate matter (PM2.5) at 1284 US monitoring stations, compared against the FireSmoke, FireWork and HRRR smoke forecasts.
National outlook
Currently, air quality across the United States is generally good, with 451 stations reporting Good conditions and 304 in the Moderate range. Only three stations are in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category, located in Hinds CC, Mississippi (40 µg/m³), Twisp-S Lincoln St, Washington (39 µg/m³), and Monroe, Louisiana (36 µg/m³). Conditions are easing at most of these locations, though Twisp-S Lincoln St is expected to see levels rise, with forecasts reaching over 500 µg/m³ in the next 48 hours. Over the same period, models predict the highest smoke levels in Grants Pass - Parkside School, Oregon, and Multorpor, Oregon, both forecast to exceed 500 µg/m³, along with Twisp-S Lincoln St, Washington, also expected to reach over 500 µg/m³.
